Manchester United could get their hands on Everton striker Romelu Lukaku this summer, even if they fail to qualify for next season's Champions League.
The Red Devils are expected to bring in fresh blood to their squad after the likes of Memphis Depay, Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger failed to prove their worth in a United shirt.
According to The Mirror, The Toffees are fearful that they could lose Lukaku to the red side of Manchester even though they fail to attain Champions League qualification.
The report goes on to state that the player is likely to push through a deal, should the Mancunian giants step up their interest in his services.
Everton currently rate Lukaku at around £60m.
