West Ham target Odion Ighalo

Ighalo on Hammers shortlist

West Ham target Odion Ighalo

03 April 2016 - 18:41

West Ham United have reportedly added Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo to their list of targets for the summer. The 26-year-old has been in good form for the Hornets, who are lying in the bottom half of the league standings.

  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts

  • Ighalo started off the season in fine fashion as he found goals at will in a fascinating combination with skipper Troy Deeney.

However, he has struggled to replicate his form since the turn of the year, and this has gone hand in hand with the club's dismal spell in the Premier League.

According to The Sun, the Hammers are expected to move in for at least one striker this summer as they aim to improve on the good work done this season.

It is added that Ighalo is regarded as one among the prime targets for the club despite his failure to fine the net in recent months.

Ighalo has netted 14 league goals for the Hornets this term.
