The France international has been in exceptional form for the Hammers since his move from Marseille last summer.

According to The Star, Les Parisiens are looking into a deal for Payet, who recently committed his future to the Hammers on a five-year contract.

The report goes on to state that the East London side would be willing to offload their star man, provided any club matches their &pound40m asking price this summer.

Payet has made himself a regular in the Les Bleus setup following his impressive showing for the Hammers this term.
