Manchester City are reported to have finalized a £30m fee to land Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan. The German international had been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League last summer before he penned a two-year extension at Westfalenstadion.
Since then, the 25-year-old has kept up his performance levels in the Bundesliga, and this has caught the eye of City scouts.
City have been in negotiations with BVB in recent months, and according to The Sun, both clubs have agreed on a £30m sum for the player's transfer.
It is also understood that Gundogan has met up with incoming manager Pep Guardiola.
Gundogan has amassed over 150 appearances for BVB since his move from Nuremburg in 2011.
