David Moyes is eager to return to management with Everton, should Roberto Martinez get sacked at the end of the season.
The Toffees have had a dismal record in the top flight this season, and currently find themselves in the bottom half of the league standings.
According to The Sun, the club's hierarchy are considering the position of Martinez after the Toffees lost out to Manchester United in the FA semi-final.
It is added that former manager Moyes has shown desire to rejoin the Merseyside outfit and a decision is likely to be taken during the off-season.
Roberto Martinez is under huge pressure to perform after the club succumbed to five defeats in their last ten league outings.
