Sweden international Zlatan Ibrahimovic has reportedly been offered a route to the Premier League with Manchester United. The 34-year-old is understood to be weighing up his options with his contract at Paris Saint-Germain due to expire next month.
According to French source RMC Sport, United have tabled a one-year contract for the veteran striker following negotiations with the player's representative.
The report adds that Ibrahimovic is unlikely to accept the deal unless United appoint Jose Mourinho as their new head coach.
The pair worked together during their time at Inter Milan between 2008 and 2009.
Ibrahimovic became Les Parisiens' top scorer in a single league season as he amassed 38 goals, surpassing the previous record set by Carlos Bianchi.(37 goals during the 1977-78 season)
