Bayern Munich centre-back Mehdi Benatia is closing in on a move to Juventus, Italian source Tuttosport reveals. The Moroccan has been tipped to leave the Bavarian giants following his lack of playing time during the 2015/16 campaign.
The Old Lady are on the search for a new centre-back to freshen up their backline ahead of next season.
According to Tuttosport, the Turin giants will look to pursue a deal for Benatia, who is currently deemed surplus to requirements at the Allianz Arena.
It is added that Serie A holders could get their player for nothing if Bayern agree to a swap involving on-loan winger Kingsley Coman.
Coman joined Bayern on a two-year loan contract from Juventus during last summer's transfer window.
