Arsenal are the latest side to be linked with a move for Southampton's Senegalese winger Sadio Mane. The 24-year-old has caught the radar of top European clubs following his fruitful touch during the back end of last season.
Mane started off the 2015/16 campaign in slow fashion, and there were doubts that he could fail to replicate his showing of the previous season.
However, he turned his game through the second-half of the campaign, and made himself a menace in the Saints' attack which propelled his side to sixth in the league standings.
English giants Manchester United have been recently rumoured to be preparing a formal bid for Mane, but according to The Telegraph, the Gunners could offer stiff competition in the pursuit of the hard-working attacker.
Arsene Wenger's team consider Mane as a potential replacement for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has been recently linked with a switch to Premier League holders Leicester City.
Mane ended the season as the Saints' top scorer, netting 15 goals in all competitions.
