Galatasaray are considering making a move for the controversial Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli this summer, the Lions are interested in bringing in the Italian international in as a replacement for star striker Burak Yilmaz who moved to China in January.
Liverpool have transfer listed Balotelli and want to offload him to free up the £80,000-a-week wages that he is currently on and are said to be willing to accept a loss on the £16 million they paid Manchester City for him.
Galatasaray would however, struggle to match the 25 year olds Anfield deal and will make an enquiry for a season long loan move and offer to pay a smaller percentage of his wages.
As the Istanbul giants are currently on a one-year UEFA European competition ban for breaching financial rulings this will reduce their income significantly and the club will have to cut back on spending and either sell or reduce the wage packets of their highest earners such as Manchester United targets Wesley Sneijder and Fernando Muslera.
Balotelli has just returned from a disappointing season long loan at AC Milan scoring just one league goal in 23 games and is not fancied by Red’s boss Jurgen Klopp due to his unstable attitude and unsettling behaviour.
