Premier League newcomers Middlesbrough are weighing up a surprise move for AS Monaco striker Radamel Falcao. The Colombian has largely flopped in his previous loan spells in the top flight with Manchester United and Chelsea.
Falcao, 30, is set to be on the transfer market over the summer with Monaco willing to recoup as much as possible from their club-record signing.
However, Bleacher Report suggests that the player could earn himself a third straight season in England with Boro seemingly keen on securing a temporary move for his signature.
Aitor Karanka's side will nevertheless have a tough time negotiating Falcao's wages which are currently in the region of £90,000-a-week.
Falcao has two years left on his existing deal at the Principality outfit.
