Sunderland for Hoyte?

Sunderland for Hoyte?

20 January 2008 - 23:04

Sunderland boss Roy Keane is considering a move for Arsenal youngster Justin Hoyte from Arsenal on loan with a view to a permanent move. Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen to hang on to the youngster as he deals with the loss of Emmanuel Eboue and Kolo Toure to the African Nations.

  • Chelsea consider £39m deal for Lens midfielder
  • Chelsea ready to battle Arsenal for Brentford star?
  • However, Hoyte has already enjoyed some time on loan at Sunderland where he made a brilliant impression on the coaching team at the Black Cats.

Aston Villa and Martin O'Neill are long term admirers of Justin, but Arsenal are very keen to hang on to one of their better English youth prospects.

But, Wenger may be tempted by the possibility of a £4 million offer being placed for the youngster who has struggled to find first-team action this season at the Gunners.
