Birmingham City have completed the loan signing of Swiss defender Johan Djourou from Arsenal. Steve Bruce is delighted with his 10th signing of the summer and commented on his excellent relationship with Arsenal and boss Arsene Wenger helped see this deal through.
It is not known whether the deal is with a view to a permanent deal, but it is believed the deal expires in January 2008 and is likely to be extended until the end of the season. Djourou could make his debut vs. Chelsea in the season opener on Saturday.
