Arsenal are reluctant to offload goalkeeper David Ospina in the current transfer window. The Colombian international joined the Gunners from French side Nice in 2014.

  • Man Utd handed boost in signing West Ham star?
  • Barcelona have genuine interest in Chelsea forward
  • The 27-year-old struggled for regular playing time in the league last season with Petr Cech being preferred for the number one role.

It had been recently claimed that Ospina could be moving to Besiktas with the Turkish champions willing to pay a £2m fee.

However, the Gunners have since rebuffed the offer, with manager Arsene Wenger keen on keeping hold of the keeper for the new campaign.

Ospina has recently returned for the Gunners' pre-season tour of the United States after an extended break for his exploits at the Copa America Centenario.

The shot-stopper has appeared in 36 games for the North London giants.
