Gabriel Jesus set to join Manchester City?

Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus is reportedly on his way to England this afternoon to rubber stamp a deal to join Premier League giants Man City. Gabriel Jesus currently plays in his home country for Palmeiras.

  • Palmeiras have reportedly agreed a $35.75 million offer from City to sign the teenager and the striker will be announced as Pep Guardiola's next transfer signing next week. It is understood that Gabriel Jesus will not officially be announced as a City player until next January, however, when the Brazilian season has finished.

    The immensely gifted striker, 19, has scored 14 goals in 32 games for Palmeiras. The 5 foot 9 striker has been compared with homeland hero Ronaldo and City have moved swiftly to tie the striker down to a 6 year contract at the Etihad Stadium.
