Arsenal have pulled out of a potential transfer move for Lyon star Alexandre Lacazette. The Gunners tabled a 29 million GBP bid for the Frenchman last week that has since been rejected by Lyon.
Arsenal will now turn their attentions to other transfer targets after missing out on the talented forward, with Mario Gomez rumoured to be amongst the names on Arsene Wenger's transfer shortlist.
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas confirmed that Arsenal had ended their interest in Lacazette: "Arsenal have not come back and will not come back. No-one will leave Lyon."
