Sunderland have announced the double signing of Paddy McNair and Donald Love from English giants Manchester United. A combined fee of £5.5m has been settled for the transfer.
The United pairing had been tipped to join the Black Cats earlier in the week after it became evident that their stay at Old Trafford had come to an end.
The duo have inked four-year contracts at the Stadium of Light, and will add the much-needed depth to the Black Cats' backline ahead of the new season.
David Moyes has shown keen interest in strengthening his defence this month with Papy Djilobodji being his first addition last week.
The Scottish coach is expected to continue the raid on his former club with Belgian attacker Adnan Januzaj close to sealing a season-long loan to Sunderland.
