  • Marin, 27, joined the Blues from Werder Bremen in 2012 with the reputation of being a top-class player in the Bundesliga.

However, he failed to make his way into first-team at Stamford Bridge, and was restricted to just six league appearances in his debut campaign.

He continued to spend time at Sevilla, Fiorentina, Anderlecht and Trabzonspor on loan in the three seasons which followed.

According to German daily Sport1, Marin has finally ended his association with the West London giants after they agreed a £2.6m fee with Olympiakos for his sale this summer.

Marin will look to revive his career in Piraeus having previously plyed his trade in six different leagues in just five seasons.
