Eric Dier signs new Spurs deal

Tottenham have confirmed that 22-year-old defensive midfielder Eric Dier has signed a new five-year deal which runs to the end of 2021.

The deal comes a few days after Spurs secured Kyle Walker's future at the club, which shows that Spurs want to keep the young English talent that they currently have. 

Over the past two years, Dier has evolved into a key player for Spurs, playing a major part in their title challenge last year.

Surely now it won't be long until we see more Spurs youngsters sign new deal tying them down to long contracts at the club.
