Premier League minnows Burnley are in contact with former West Bromwich Albion and Sunderland winger Stephane Sessegnon. The 32-year-old is a free agent after he failed to earn a fresh deal at the Hawthorns.
The experienced attacker, who has been recently linked with Everton, has fielded interest from several clubs in Ligue 1.
According to The Mail, the Clarets are prepared to offer a short-term contract to the Benin international with manager Sean Dyche eager to add more experience to his squad.
Sessegnon was first brought to England by Sunderland in the summer of 2010 where he spent three seasons before he became the Baggies' record signing back then for £5.5m.Â
His performances during the previous campaign were consistent but this was not enough to convince West Bromwich Albion to offer him a new contract.
The former Paris Saint-Germain star has appeared in a total of 158 Premier League games till date.
