23 September 2016 - 07:17

West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis have confirmed that the club will not offer contracts to free-agents Marouane Chamakh and Momo Sissoko. The pair had been training alongside the first-team over the past month with Pulis looking to bolster his fragile looking squad.

  • Chamakh was released from Crystal Palace at the end of the previous campaign whilst Sissoko has been on the search for a new club since he left Shanghai Shenhua in February this year.

In a press conference yesterday, Pulis revealed that his side have opted against pursuing the trialists after they failed to get upto full fitness.

Pulis will mark his return to the Bet365Stadium in grand fashion as he makes his 1000th appearance in club management.
