Former Arsenal and Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has revealed that he could end his professional career in England. The Netherlands international is currently plying his trade at Fenerbahce.
Van Persie, 33, was tipped to make a Premier League comeback over the summer with English champions Leicester City being among his main admirers.
The experienced striker has now hinted that he is open to the possibility of returning to the top flight, but his children will have the final say on his future.
"I'm open to everything. I've been away from the Netherlands for 13 years and that suits me fine. Whether it's in England, Turkey or wherever, " he told Feyenoord TV.
"The kids are involved. They are even more English than Dutch because they grew up there. There comes a time when they also get a bigger say in where they'd like to live and be."
Van Persie has struggled to find the net in six outings for Fenerbahce this season.
