Inter Milan want Batshuayi

Inter in search for Icardi replacement

Inter Milan want Batshuayi

18 October 2016 - 11:21

Serie A side Inter Milan will look to tempt Michy Batshuayi to join them in the winter transfer window. The Belgian international has had limited gametime at Chelsea this season.

  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts

  • Batshuayi joined the Blues from Marseille in the summer, and has since failed to make a single start in the Premier League.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the Nerazzurri are lining up a bid for the Belgian as they seek to replace Mauro Icardi.

Icardi has been strongly criticised after his incentive comments over the fans in his autobiography, and this is likely to lead to his exit in the New Year.

On the otherhand, Batshuayi has primarily featured in the EFL Cup this season, but he is more than content to fight for his place at Stamford Bridge.

Batshuayi has amassed a solitary goal in five substitute appearances in the league this season.
