Coleman back on Man Utd radar

Man Utd to revive Seamus Coleman interest

18 October 2016 - 18:00

Manchester United are prepared to renew their long-standing interest in Everton full-back Seamus Coleman. The 27-year-old was previously on the Red Devils radar in 2013.

  • Arsenal handed injury boost on defender ahead of Bournemouth clash
  • Chelsea planning shock move for Man City winger?

  • According to The Irish Independent, the Mancunian giants will step up their pursuit for Coleman with Jose Mourinho in desperate need of a specialist right-back.

Antonio Valencia has fared well in the right side of the defence this season, but the Special One wants a player who he is more natural to the position.

Monaco star Fabinho had been the preferred target for the Red Devils for somewhile before they knew of his £35m valuation.

And this has urged them to consider a bid for Coleman, who could be available for a fee of around £20m in January.

Coleman has appeared in over 200 games for Everton since arriving from Sligo Rovers in the summer of 2009.
