New Marseille manager Rudi Garcia was offered to take over from Slaven Bilic as the West Ham manager, according to French newspaper L'Equipe.
The Hammers had a very poor start to their first season in the Olympic Stadium, and 10 days ago it was looking increasingly likely that the owners would hastily sack Bilic, who led them to a 7th place finish last season.
Much of the transfer bussiness West Ham did in the summer could be analysed as careless and with little scouting or thought behind it, notably Töre and Calleri. Therefore it wouldn't have been incredibly suprising if the owners had sacked their Croation manager.
However West Ham have back to back home wins and their team seems to be settling in to the new stadium. As a result it will be very unlikely for Bilic to be sacked in the near future.
