Bayer Leverkusen striker Javier Hernandez has insisted that he has no clue regarding Real Madrid's interest in his services. The 28-year-old joined his current club from Manchester United in 2015.

  • Man Utd star preparing farewell video ahead of transfer
  • The Mexican international spent the 2014-15 campaign with Real Madrid on loan from Manchester United netting nine times in all competitions.

With Los Blancos opting against a permanent contract, Chicharito was left to pursue his career in Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen, where he has turned out to be a fan favourite.

With 33 goals in 53 outings for Leverkusen, there have been suggestions that Chicharito could seek a fresh challenge with a return to the Bernabeu being a probability.

However, the player has denied any contact with the European champions, and is rather happy with his current role at the German club.

Chicharito was part of the Bayer Leverkusen side that beat Tottenham Hotspur by a 1-0 scoreline in the Champions League in midweek.
