Inter Milan have not dropped their interest in Matteo Darmian despite the Italian ruling out a winter exit from Manchester United.
The 26-year-old found himself a fringe player at the start of the campaign with manager Jose Mourinho preferring Antonio Valencia for the right-back role.
However, following an arm injury to Valencia last month, the full-back has been restored to the United first-team, starting the last three games in all competitions.
Darmian had recently dismissed speculation over his departure from  Old Trafford, but according to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri are still in the running to land the Italy international.
Apart from the Nerazzurri, the likes of Barcelona and Juventus have been linked with potential moves for the versatile defender.
Darmian joined the Red Devils from Torino in the summer of 2015 for a reported fee of £14m.
