Former England international and Chelsea legend Frank Lampard is set to snub a backroom role at Stamford Bridge.
The 38-year-old wants to continue playing professional football for a couple more seasons.
Lampard ended his association with New York City FC earlier this week, and this led to suggestions he could call quits on his playing career.
However, widespread reports now suggest that the midfielder is eyeing a fresh challenge, and there is the distinct possibility he could remain in the MLS.
LA Galaxy and Orlando City are among the clubs fielding interest in the player, whilst there are several English sides monitoring his situation.
Lampard has recently snubbed the vacant managerial post at MK Dons and he is no hurry to commit his future to Chelsea in a coaching capacity.
