West Ham United are reportedly lining up a winter bid for Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson. The Hammers are on the search for a fresh striker with loan recruits Simone Zaza and Jonathan Calleri failing to impress.
According to The Guardian, manager Slaven Bilic is desperate to sign a new centre-forward in January with the club likely to terminate the contracts of Zaza and Calleri.
The Hammers are already without Diafra Sakho for six weeks with a thigh injury, and this leaves an injury-plagued Andy Carroll as the only reliable marksman to be called upon in the coming games.
Slaven Bilic's side had a £15m offer turned down for Wilson over the summer, but it is reported that they will come up with a renewed £25m bid for his signature in the New Year.
Wilson only inked a fresh four-year deal with Bournemouth in July this year, and a move could be dependent on the player's final decision.
