Everton to return for Manolo Gabbiadini

Everton will reportedly revive their pursuit for Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini in the January transfer window. The Italy international was on the Toffees radar last summer.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao

  • According to The Mirror, the Merseyside outfit will come up with a fresh offer for the marksman after they failed with a &pound14.5m bid during the previous transfer window.

Koeman is said to be a huge fan of the player's abilities, and he sees him as a potential replacement for Romelu Lukaku, who has been linked with a host of elite clubs.

Gabbiadini has not had much success at Napoli despite Arek Milik's injury absence, and it is believed that the Italian side would accept a &pound20m sum for his sale.

The 25-year-old, who is also a transfer target for Leicester City, has netted a solitary league goal for the Serie A giants this season.
