West Ham United are reportedly prepared to terminate the contract of on-loan Juventus striker Simone Zaza. The Italy international has failed to live up to his expectations in the Premier League.
Zaza, 25, joined the Hammers on an initial £4m loan deal in the summer with a view to a permanent contract, should he attain a stipulated number of league appearances.
According to The Mirror, the Hammers will offload the marksman at the earliest opportunity with Spanish side Valencia seemingly keen on his signature.
Zaza has already amassed eight appearances in the top flight, and the Hammers are well aware of the 10-game count which automatically triggers a permanent deal for a costly £20m.
Los Che boss Cesare Prandelli had previously scouted Zaza during this time with Italy, and he is prepared to revive the player's flagging career in the New Year.
Apart from Zaza, the likes of Gokhan Tore and Jonathan Calleri are also expected to have their loan contracts cut short during the winter transfer window.
