Chile international Alexis Sanchez would happily commit his future to Arsenal, should Arsene Wenger part ways with the club in the summer.
Wenger, 67, is the approaching six months of his contract at the Emirates, and talks over a potential successor seem to have began.
Spanish source Don Balon suggests that the Arsenal forward is holding out on a fresh Gunners contract until the Gunners reach a decision over Wenger's future.
The former Barcelona man is said to want a new manager at the helm, and this is one reason as to why he is deliberating a possible extension to his contract which is due to expire in 2018.
It is added that the 27-year-old also wants a 200 percent increase on his current £130,000-a-week wages before thinking of the prospect of a long-term deal
Fellow teammate Mesut Ozil is another who is in a contract standoff with the Gunners after he demanded astronomical wages of £384,000-a-week in an improved deal.
