Moyes: happy without cash

10 August 2007 - 16:05

Everton boss David Moyes has announced he believes teams can compete in the Premier League without the finance the big clubs have. He also pointed out that often, clubs spend a fortune on players that don't bring success to the club.

  • Gary Neville breaks silence on Ruben Amorim
  • Confirmed Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Brentford, Estevao absent

  • Everton are still keen on adding some talent to their side but Moyes prefers to pick up a bargain. One player Everton will be keen to bring back to Goodison Park is Manuel Fernandes who had an impressive season in the Premiership with both Portsmouth and Everton last year.

Moyes believes that those clubs who spend little and on less players do more successfully in the Premiership, and he believed Everton were one of those clubs.
