Crystal Palace plot Yann M'Vila swoop

25 January 2017 - 06:29

Crystal Palace boss Sam Allardyce is reportedly eyeing a reunion with Rubin Kazan midfielder Yann M'Vila in the January transfer window.

  • Arsenal handed injury boost on defender ahead of Bournemouth clash
  • Chelsea planning shock move for Man City winger?

  • The France international played a key part for Big Sam's Sunderland last season as they managed to beat the Premier League drop in stunning fashion.

M'Vila was expecting to rejoin the Black Cats on a permanent basis in the summer, but unfortunately, David Moyes did not prefer the move, and this has urged him to stay put at Rubin.

According to The Telegraph, Allardyce is hoping to lure his former player to Selhurst Park this month despite the midfielder signing a fresh three-year contract with Rubin on Boxing Day.

M'Vila is said to have a clause in his contract which would allow him to join a Premier League club for around £11m, and this has apparently caught the eye of Allardyce.

Nevertheless, the club could be forced to offload Marseille target Yohan Cabaye in a bid to sanction the move.
