Hull City are planning to complete a late move for Valencia attacker Nani. The Portugal international has previously featured under Marco Silva at Sporting Lisbon during the 2014-15 season.
According to The Mail, Silva has set his sights on signing the Euro 2016 winner as he bids to overcome the departure of Robert Snodgrass to West Ham United.
Snodgrass had been the leader of the pack up front this season, and the Tigers are now in desperate search for a creative midfielder ahead of the 11 pm deadline.
Nani is said to have emerged as the top target for the Tigers on deadline day, and Silva will seek to utilise his close association with the winger in order to push through a transfer.
The 30-year-old has not had much success since joining Valencia from Fenerbahce last summer, and he could be tempted to accept a relegation challenge with his former boss.
