Marseille are rumoured to be on the verge of agreeing a deal for Yohan Cabaye in the summer transfer window. According to a report from France, Palace will pay 8.25 million euros to sign the central midfielder.
Crystal Palace are currently struggling in the Premier League, despite bringing in former England manager Sam Allardyce to attempt to stop the rot.
Cabaye told reporters in France: "It's flattering, because Marseille are one of the great French clubs," he told L'Equipe Enquete.
"We're in a difficult situation. I'm trying my best to help my team as best I can. I have immense respect for the coach, but today that's the reality with my club."
