Nabil Fekir hints at La Liga move

08 February 2017 - 06:12

Lyon attacker Nabil Fekir is open to the prospect of joining a La Liga club at the end of the campaign.

  • The France international was previously linked with a move to Barcelona in late 2015 after he suggested that he could move on from his hometown club.

Barca are not said to be the sole club interested in his services, and the 23-year-old could still leave Les Gones if he receives the right offer from the Spanish top division.

"I am not really thinking about my future yet," Fekir told RTL. "The end of the season is still far away, there are three more months to go.

"But I cannot deny I like the Spanish league. It is a league where they play some nice football. Behind La Liga, England and Germany are good leagues as well."

Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool have been previously touted as potential destinations for the highly-rated attacker, and the duo could table offers of their own after Fekir admitted England is an option.

Fellow teammate Alexandre Lacazette is also understood to be eyeing a route out of Lyon in the next transfer window.
