PSG star calling for Man Utd move?

15 February 2017 - 08:50

Paris Saint-Germain full-back Thomas Meunier has admitted that he could pursue a move to England at some stage in his career.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • The Belgian international notched an assist in an excellent showing for Les Parisiens last night as they ran out surprise 4-0 victors over Barcelona in the Champions League.

Meunier had been competing with Serge Aurier for the right-back position since his arrival last summer, and he now looks to have established himself as the preferred choice under Unai Emery.

While speaking with Belgian outfit DH, the 25-year-old admitted that he is satisfied with his role at Parc des Princes, but a move to England with Manchester United or any other club could not be ruled out.

"I've always said that one day, I would like to play in the Premier League," he told the source.

"I'm very happy in Paris and if I finish my career there, it won't be a disappointment, far from it, but, if one day, I had to leave Paris, why not?

"I've never hidden that I'm a big fan of Manchester United, which remains, in my eyes, the real reference in the world of football."

Meunier got his first taste of England football earlier in the Champions League campaign when Paris Saint-Germain drew 2-2 against Arsenal at the Emirates.
