Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly lodge an attempt to sign in-form Hull City defender Harry Maguire in the summer.
The 23-year-old has been influential to the Tigers' recent form, and his performances in central defence seem to have captured the attention of Spurs.
According to The Star, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has earmarked Maguire as a potential target to bolster his backline this summer following a season where the club have been caught at the back through injuries.
Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen have been the regular pairing at centre-back in recent seasons, but Poch would prefer more competition with Eric Dier and an out-of-favour Kevin Wimmer failing to impress.
Marco Silva's side are expected to demand fees of around £15m for Maguire - six times of what they paid to Sheffield United in 2014.
Spurs will seek to extend their Europa League run on Thursday night when they host Belgian side Gent at Wembley with a 1-0 deficit from the first-leg.
