Hammers rule out Carroll sale

West Ham reject three bids for Andy Carroll

28 February 2017 - 10:55

West Ham United have reportedly snubbed multiple offers from the Chinese Super League for injury-plagued striker Andy Carroll.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Clubs in China are said to be in high alert for potential recruits with their transfer window due to close this afternoon.

Carroll's career at the Hammers has been marred by niggles over the years, but this has not affected the club's faith in his services.

According to Sky Sports, the Hammers have issued a hands-off warning to trio Hebei China Fortune, Tianjin Quanjian and Shandong Luneng in regards to their marksman.

Carroll has earned just 12 league outings for the club this season, and he is currently nursing a groin problem which has kept him out of first-team action.

The 28-year-old, who was previously the Hammers' record signing from Liverpool in 2013, has netted six goals across all competitions this term.
