Newcastle United will step up their pursuit to sign Hull City's Harry Maguire once their promotion to the top flight is confirmed.
The Magpies are on course to finish in the top-two positions in the Championship with third-placed Huddersfield Town, 11 points adrift with a game in hand.
According to The Sun, the Tyneside outfit will once again invest in key players during the summer transfer window with a certain Harry Maguire topping their shortlist.
Maguire, 24, has got the chance to establish himself in his preferred centre-back position in recent months, and his performances have impressed the Magpies' hierarchy.
The former England Under-21 international is due to leave the Tigers if they are to be relegated, but the club could still find an offer of around £12m hard to refuse during the off-season.
Hull City are currently placed 19th with 21 points following their first poor performance under Marco Silva in the 3-1 defeat to Leicester City on Saturday.
