Liverpool transfer target Naby Keita was rushed to hospital after he collapsed during RB Leipzig's 1-0 Bundesliga defeat to Wolfsburg on Saturday.

  • Liverpool have been tracking the twenty two year old Guinea international, who has been a star of the Leipzig side this season, helping them to climb to second in the German elite division.

During the tie at the Red Bull Arena, Keita fell to the ground and was rushed to hospital immediately. The youngster reportedly suffered from circulatory problems, causing him to lose consciousness. German media has since said that Keita regained consciousness after the incident and will remain in hospital to be observed overnight.

Naby Keita only signed for RB Leipzig last summer, but some good performances have attracted interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs, including Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. RB Leipzig will be desperate to keep hold of their player, but right now the main priority id the health and wellbeing of their man.
