Marco Verratti back on United radar?

Verratti could leave PSG this summer

Marco Verratti back on United radar?

23 March 2017 - 06:17

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti could be heading a summer exit from Parc des Princes after his representative claimed his client is not happy in the French capital.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • The Italy international had been linked with a proposed move to Barcelona earlier in the month before he admitted that he would like to win the Champions League with Les Parisiens.

However, following their 6-5 Champions League aggregate defeat at the hands of Barca, the player's focus appears to have changed, and this in hand has urged his agent to discuss a potential exit for the playmaker.

According to The Mirror, both Barcelona and Manchester United have been put on alert after it was revealed that Veratti is not full content with his place with Les Parisiens.

Verratti was the subject of immense criticism from the French media following his performances in Ligue 1 earlier in the campaign, and this could yet be the prime reason for the player pushing for a summer exit.

The former Pescara man is likely to be rated in excess of £60m if he is to part ways with the French champions in the summer.
