The outcome of Sunday's Premier League fixture between Arsenal and Manchester City will decide the future of Arsene Wenger, which he will announce after the game.
According to Starsport, the under fire Arsenal manager will confirm whether he will sign a new contract with the Gunners or not after the Manchester City result. To the displeasure of many Arsenal fans, Wenger is rumoured to be close to signing a new deal with the club, however, another bad result on Sunday could see the pressure of the fans become too much for the Frenchman.
Wenger's success at Arsenal is unquestionable, leading them to a string of trophies during his twenty one years in charge. However, a lack of progression over the last few years has lead many Arsenal fans to ask for change. The North London club have lost four of their last five games in the Premier League, their worst run since Wenger took charge.
To make the situation worse for Arsenal, an Everton victory in the Merseyside derby in Sunday's early kick off will see the Gunners slip to seventh place ahead of their game.
