Everton keen on reported Man United target

05 April 2017 - 05:11

Premier League side Everton could be prepared to rival Manchester United in the pursuit of Benfica attacker Anderson Talisca this summer.

  • Liam Rosenior drops huge hint on Liam Delap's future
  • Chelsea leading race to sign £70m Brazilian star

  • The former Brazil youth international is currently in the ranks of Besiktas, for whom he joined on a 1+1 loan from Benfica at the start of the season.

Talisca has managed to notch eight goals in his 18 outings for the Turkish giants to date, and it is understood that the club could prefer his stay for the additional year in his temporary deal.

According to The Express, Toffees boss Ronald Koeman has one eye on the attacking prospect with Yannick Bolasie still on a long path from recovery on an injured knee.

Talisca had been tipped to join one of Liverpool or Wolverhampton Wanderers during the previous summer transfer, but a failure to resolve a working visa led to him joining Besiktas instead.

In spite of this, interested clubs will try again this summer with the player deemed to have a release clause of just &pound20m on his current Besiktas contract.
