Bolton finds replacement for Anelka

Bolton finds replacement for Anelka

03 February 2008 - 10:38

Nicolas Anelka's departure in January have made Bolton to think about a long-term investment and it seems they have found their man in Marko Pantelic

  • Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • The Serbian striker was linked to a Bolton move in January and the deal did not happen. It seems that Bolton Wanderers might be interested to complete the move in the summer.

Pantelic is currently playing for Hertha Berlin in Bundesliga and has scored 32 goals since his joining them in 2005.

The 29 year old is well-known for his nomadic nature having played for 10 different teams in 12 years. His longest serving run in any club is 2 seasons and if he keeps that record he is more likely to join Bolton this summer
