Knill becomes manager of Bury

04 February 2008 - 13:11

Bury have just appointed Alan Knill as their new manager in place of CHris Casper who was sacked on 14th January 2008.

  • Chelsea eyeing marquee signing before deadline
  • Man City preparing £100m bid for Chelsea midfielder
  • Knill used to play for the club for

four years and has become a home favourite there.

He replaces Chris Casper who was fired after losing nine games on the trot. He has previously managed Rotherham and was the assistant manager at Chesterfield.

Bury fans will be hoping that Knill will improve on that record and hopefully avoid relegation from league two.
