Real Madrid defender is reportedly happy with the current set of defenders and does not think Leonardo Bonucci is needed at the Bernabeu.
Spanish paper Diario Gol reported last week that Ramos was against Real Madrid breaking the bank to sign Monaco's 18-year-old striker Kylian Mbappe, citing concerns about his lack of maturity and having not proved himself over a period of time.
Now, Diario Gol has again reported Ramos' objection against another Real Madrid target - Leonardo Bonucci.
The report stated that Ramos does not feel Real Madrid need the services of the 30-year-old Juventus defender, despite him having another spectacular season with the Turin club. His partnership with veteran defenders Andrea Barzagli, Giorgio Chiellini and goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has been immense as Juventus recorded 28 clean sheets on their way to winning the Seria A, Coppa Italia, and reaching the Champions League final as they aim to complete a historical treble.
However, Sergio Ramos is said to be satisfied with the current crop of defenders at the club and does not think Bonucci will serve as an upgrade. Ramos rates Nacho and Raphael Varane highly and also thinks young defender Jesús Vallejo, who was out on loan to German club Eintracht Frankfurt this past season, has a bright future.
Bonucci will square off with Ramos as Real Madrid meet Juventus in the Champions League final on June 3.
