Wales international Gareth Bale has dismissed suggestions that he could move to Manchester United by insisting that he is 'happy' at Real Madrid.
The 27-year-old secured his third Champions League crown in four seasons after making a cameo substitute appearance in the 4-1 win over Juventus at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
A recent report from The Sun suggested that United could revive their long-term interest in Bale with Antoine Griezmann likely to stay put at Atletico Madrid for a year at the least.
Griezmann had been identified as the perfect fit to lead the line for the Red Devils, but Atleti's failure to overturn their transfer embargo has diminished their hopes of landing the Frenchman.
Speaking to reporters, Bale was asked about his future plans for which he iterated his ambition to stay put in the Spanish capital where he is winning trophies.
"I have signed a long-term contract at Madrid. My family is happy and I am happy, so yes we will continue what we are doing. We are winning trophies and I am happy," he is quoted as saying by The Mirror.
Bale is currently contracted to the European champions until the summer of 2022.
