Man City to loan Nolito?

Manchester City are open to negotiating a temporary deal with Spanish club Sevilla for unsettled winger Nolito. The Spain international was starved of first-team opportunities in the second half of last season.

  • Nolito joined the Citizens from Celta Vigo last summer despite receiving interest from former club Barcelona. The 30-year-old therein had an impressive start to his England career as he bagged six goals and two assists in his opening 10 games.

    In spite of this, he slowly began to vanish from the Guardiola lineup with the likes of Leroy Sane and Gabriel Jesus being integrated into the squad during the backend of the campaign.

    Nolito has openly suggested that he may have to return home in order to improve his international prospects and according to The Express, he could be allowed to join Sevilla on a season-long loan.

    Sevilla had recruited Nasri on a similar contract last summer, and they will propose to sign Nolito on a permanent deal, should he impress on his La Liga return.

    Nolito has found himself out of the national team in recent months following his lack of starts in the Premier League.
