Tottenham interested in NZogbia

Tottenham interested in N'Zogbia

06 February 2008 - 13:09

Spurs are keen to sign the unsettled youngster from Newcastle United.

  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Bournemouth, Sterling starts
  • Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Everton, Partey starts

  • The French U-21 international has been linked to Inter Milan, Lyon and PSG in the last transfer window. The Guardian reports that the latest to join the race is Tottenham Hotspurs.

Newcastle boss Kevin Keegan admits that N'Zogbia is not happy at the Tyneside and he will try to help the youngster."Charles came to see me about all the speculation [linking him with Tottenham]. He's just signed a new contract here but it's something we'll have to revisit in the summer"

The attacking left-winger has been deployed at left-back by the former Newcastle manager Sam Allardyce. The new boss and Newcastle legend Keegan says, "I think Charles has done very well playing at left-back recently but I'm definitely not saying it's his best position. He's a gem of a lad, though, and he's made no complaints at all about playing left-back."
